Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply tap, Clogged inlet filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve assembly, Defective water level (pressure) sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close the water taps before removing any hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps feeding the Hisense washer are fully open and that household water pressure is normal. Try another faucet to confirm pressure.
- Inspect inlet hoses: Turn off taps, disconnect the hoses from the back of the washer, and check for kinks, crushing, or internal collapse. Straighten or replace if damaged.
- Clean inlet filters: At the washer’s inlet ports, gently pull out the small mesh filters with needle-nose pliers. Rinse under running water and scrub with a soft brush to remove sediment. Reinstall carefully.
- Test fill: Reconnect hoses firmly, open taps, plug the washer back in, and run a quick wash. If E1 persists, the water inlet valve or pressure sensor may be faulty.
- Advanced check (for trained persons): With power disconnected, remove the top cover, locate the water inlet valve assembly, and check coil resistance with a multimeter. If open or shorted, replace the valve. Inspect the pressure hose from tub to pressure sensor for blockages or cracks.
