Washer shows E10 and stops, often at the beginning of the cycle

Safety first: Ensure hands are clear of the door area when closing.

• Close door firmly: Push the door until you hear a positive click. Do not slam, as this can damage the latch.
• Check for obstructions: Remove any clothing or foreign objects trapped between the door and gasket.
• Inspect hinge and strike: Look for sagging door hinges or a bent/broken door strike. Tighten hinge screws and replace damaged parts.
• Reset power: Unplug the washer for 2–3 minutes, then plug back in and try again. If E10 persists, the door lock assembly may be failing.
• Replace door lock if needed: Access and replace the door lock assembly as described in the E7 procedure.
