Possible Causes

Leak from door gasket, Loose hose clamp, Cracked tub or sump hose, Activated base float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply immediately if a leak is suspected.

  • Inspect visible leaks: Check around the door gasket, detergent drawer, and rear hoses for dripping or water trails.
  • Check base pan: Carefully tilt the washer slightly backward and look underneath for water in the base tray. Many Hisense models have a float switch that triggers E13 when water collects here.
  • Dry the base: If water is present, soak it up with towels or use a wet/dry vacuum. Do not tip the machine excessively to avoid water reaching electronics.
  • Locate source: Remove the rear and/or front lower panel to inspect the tub-to-pump hose, pump housing, and internal hoses for cracks or loose clamps. Tighten or replace as needed.
  • Test after repair: Once dry and repaired, plug in the washer and run a short cycle while monitoring for leaks.
