Possible Causes
Torn or worn door gasket, Foreign object trapped on gasket lip, Loose door glass clamp, Excessive suds overflowing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
- Inspect gasket: Open the door and carefully examine the entire circumference of the rubber door seal. Look for tears, holes, or areas where the gasket has pulled away from the tub.
- Remove debris: Wipe the gasket groove and folds with a damp cloth to remove lint, coins, or small objects that can break the seal.
- Check for over-sudsing: If you see lots of foam, reduce detergent dose and use HE detergent suitable for front-loaders.
- Replace gasket if damaged: Remove the outer retaining band, peel the gasket off the front panel, then remove the inner band from the tub. Fit a new Hisense-compatible door gasket, ensuring the drain holes are at the bottom, and reinstall both bands securely.
