Water Supply / Inlet Configuration Error
Washer does not take in water and shows E10; often related to water inlet or configuration issues.

Possible Causes
Closed or faulty water tap, Incorrectly connected inlet hoses, Blocked inlet valve filters, Faulty water inlet valve coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water taps and unplug the washer before disconnecting hoses.
- Verify tap status: Ensure the cold water tap feeding the SMEG washer is fully open. Some models require only cold water; check your manual.
- Check hose connections: Confirm that the inlet hose is connected to the correct tap and to the correct inlet on the washer (if there are separate hot/cold inlets).
- Clean filters: Remove the hose from the washer and clean the mesh filters in the inlet valve as described for E02.
- Test fill: Reconnect, open taps, restore power, and run a quick wash. If E10 persists, the inlet valve coil may be open-circuit and require replacement.
Persistent E10 after these checks suggests a faulty inlet valve or control board, which should be tested by a technician.
