Possible Causes
Unbalanced load protection preventing spin, Clogged drain pump filter leaving residual water, Worn motor brushes (on brushed motors), Faulty spin speed selection on control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before cleaning filters or accessing internal parts.
- Check for standing water: If water remains in the drum, run a separate drain/spin program. If it still does not drain, clean the pump filter as described for E03.
- Redistribute laundry: Open the door and spread items evenly around the drum. Avoid single heavy items; add a few towels to balance if necessary.
- Verify spin settings: Ensure the selected program includes a spin and that the spin speed is not set to 0 or "no spin".
- Test an empty spin: Run a spin-only cycle with an empty drum. If it spins empty but not with laundry, the issue is likely load balance or suspension.
If the washer never spins, even empty, and the motor does not attempt to turn, motor or control faults should be investigated by a technician.
