Possible Causes
Stuck-on heater relay, Shorted heater triac on PCB, Faulty NTC sensor reading low, Control board fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and allow it to cool completely. Do not run further hot cycles until resolved.
- 1. Test NTC sensor: Measure resistance at room temperature and at warm water. Replace if readings are too low or unstable.
- 2. Inspect heater relay/triac: On the main PCB, look for welded relay contacts or burnt triac controlling the heater.
- 3. Check heater wiring: Ensure there are no shorts to ground or between heater terminals.
- 4. Replace PCB if necessary: If the heater is being energized when it should be off, replace the main control board.
