Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on PCB, Faulty power cord, Defective noise filter board, Failed main control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and verify the wall outlet has power using another appliance.
- 1. Check external power: Confirm circuit breaker is not tripped and outlet voltage is correct.
- 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or loose plug blades. Replace if damaged.
- 3. Access noise filter and PCB: Remove the top or rear panel to locate the line filter and main PCB. Check for a blown fuse (glass or ceramic) on the board and signs of burning.
- 4. Replace fuse only if cause is known: If the fuse is blown and there is no obvious short, replace with the exact same rating. If it blows again, the PCB or another component is shorted and needs professional diagnosis.
- 5. Replace faulty boards: If the noise filter or PCB is visibly damaged or does not output low-voltage power, replace with Toshiba-approved parts.
