Possible Causes
Blown mains fuse, Tripped circuit breaker, Faulty Ferroli power switch, Loose power terminal block connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Before touching any wiring, switch off power at the main breaker. If you are not competent with electrics, call a qualified electrician or technician.
- 1. Check external supply: Verify that the wall socket or fused spur has power by plugging in another device. Reset any tripped breakers or replace a blown fuse with the correct rating.
- 2. Inspect appliance fuse: Some Ferroli water heaters have an internal fuse on the PCB or near the power entry. With power off, remove the cover and visually check the fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating.
- 3. Check power switch: Ensure the on/off switch on the heater is in the ON position and not physically damaged.
- 4. Terminal block: Confirm that live, neutral, and earth wires are securely clamped in the Ferroli terminal block and that there are no signs of overheating.
- 5. PCB power section: If fuses and supply are good but the unit is still dead, the PCB power supply section may have failed and will need professional replacement.
