Control Panel / Communication Fault
A14
Display shows A14, unit may lock out immediately at power-up.
Internal EEPROM / Configuration Error
F01
Error F01, water temperature reading is clearly wrong (e.g., shows very high or very low when water is lukewarm).
Domestic Hot Water NTC Sensor Fault
F02
F02 displayed, unit cycles rapidly, water temperature unstable.
Flow Sensor Signal Error
F03
F03 appears, burner shuts down, sometimes accompanied by very hot outlet water.
Overheat Thermostat Trip
F04
F04 displayed, fan may run but ignition does not proceed.
Fan Speed / Tachometer Fault
F05
F05 error, unit may start but then shut down with no obvious temperature issue.
Return NTC / Sensor Discrepancy
F06
F06 displayed, no response to hot water demand, sometimes after power surges.

Overtemperature / Control Fault
Symptom
Buttons on the Ferroli control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Control Input Failure
Symptom
Display is blank or segments missing, but heater still operates.
Display / User Interface Fault
Symptom
Hot water flow rate is very low compared to cold water taps.
Restricted Hot Water Flow
Symptom
Smell of burning plastic or electrical smell from the water heater.
Overheating Electrical Component
Symptom
Smell of gas near the water heater, especially during operation or shortly after.
Gas Leak / Combustion Seal Failure
Symptom
Water dripping from the flue terminal or condensate pipe outside.
Condensate Management Issue
Symptom
Water heater does not start at all, no lights or display, completely dead.
No Power / Supply Failure
Symptom
Water heater emits a whistling or high-pitched noise when running.
Resonance / Gas Flow Noise
Symptom
Water heater fan runs but there is no ignition and no error code for several seconds, then unit stops.
Ignition Sequence Interruption
Symptom
Water heater frequently cycles on and off with short run times, even with steady hot water demand.
Short Cycling
Symptom
Water heater frequently locks out and requires manual reset, but no consistent error code is shown.
Intermittent Safety Lockout
Symptom
Water heater ignites but hot water temperature is too low, even at maximum setting.
Insufficient Heating / Underfiring
Symptom
Water heater leaks water from the bottom of the casing.
Internal Water Leak
Symptom
