Danger: Flame rollout is a serious fire and CO hazard. Turn off gas and power immediately. Do not operate the heater until the cause is corrected.

• 1. Inspect rollout switch: Locate the flame rollout switch near the burner opening. If it is a manual-reset type, press the reset button once after the unit has cooled. If it trips again, do not reset—find and fix the cause.
• 2. Clean burner: Remove the burner assembly and clean all ports with a soft brush and compressed air. Do not enlarge the ports.
• 3. Check combustion chamber: Look for debris, insulation, or foreign objects inside the combustion chamber and remove them.
• 4. Vent and flue inspection: Ensure the flue and heat exchanger are not blocked. This step is best performed by a qualified technician with proper tools.
• 5. Gas pressure verification: Have a licensed gas technician measure inlet and manifold gas pressure and adjust or correct supply issues as needed.
