How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Risk of carbon monoxide. Do not operate the heater with repeated E09 errors until the cause is found.
- Ventilation check: Ensure the appliance has adequate ventilation openings as per Termet installation manual. Remove any obstructions around the heater.
- Flue path: Inspect the flue for blockages or sagging sections where condensate can collect. Have the flue cleaned if necessary.
- Flue gas sensor: Locate the flue gas temperature sensor on the flue hood or outlet. Check wiring and measure resistance. Replace if out of specification.
- Burner service: Have a qualified technician clean the burner, check gas pressure, and adjust combustion to Termet's CO₂/O₂ specifications.
