Possible Causes
Loose communication cable between Termet main PCB and display board, Damaged ribbon cable, Faulty user interface board, Defective main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing electronic components.
- Check connectors: Remove the front panel and inspect the ribbon or harness connecting the display to the main PCB. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Inspect for damage: Look for pinched, cut, or burnt sections of the cable. Replace the cable if any damage is found.
- Board inspection: Check both boards for signs of moisture, corrosion, or burnt components. Do not attempt component-level repair.
- Replace modules: If reseating the cable does not clear E12, replace the user interface board first. If the fault persists, the main PCB may need replacement by a Termet service technician.
