How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power and gas. Do not run the heater with a defective fan.
- Inspect fan: Remove the front cover and check the fan for dust buildup or foreign objects. Clean the blades carefully.
- Check wiring: Ensure the fan connector is fully seated on the PCB and that wires are not damaged.
- Spin test: With power OFF, spin the fan by hand to confirm it rotates freely.
- Replace fan: If the fan is noisy, stiff, or the tachometer signal is missing, replace the complete Termet fan assembly.
- PCB check: If a new fan does not resolve E16, the PCB fan driver may be faulty and requires replacement by a technician.
