Water heater display is on but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

• Dry panel: If condensation is present, gently dry the area and improve ventilation around the heater.
• Check cable: Reseat the ribbon cable between the panel and main PCB.
• Test buttons: Press each button firmly and observe if any respond. If some are dead, the panel likely needs replacement.
• Replace UI board: Install a new Termet control panel assembly if cleaning and reseating cables do not restore function.
