How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Immediately place the valve in bypass to stop water waste, then disconnect power and relieve pressure.

  • Clean valve body: Flush the valve body to remove debris. Inspect the internal seats for cracks.
  • Check cam alignment: Ensure the cam is correctly indexed to the service position. Reinstall according to the service manual.
  • Replace damaged parts: Replace the piston/rotor-disc and seal kit or the entire valve body if seats are cracked.
  • Test in service: After reassembly, return the valve to service and confirm that no water flows to drain during normal operation.
