• Verify power stability: Ensure the transformer is firmly plugged in and the outlet is not switched or intermittent.
• Monitor drift: Note how much time is lost or gained over several days. Minor drift may be normal on older controls.
• Backup failure: If time resets after brief outages, the internal backup has likely failed. Replace the electronic control board.
• Consider upgrade: For significant drift, upgrading to a newer Autotrol control head may be more reliable.
