No water enters the brine tank during regeneration (dry brine tank)

Safety: Bypass the softener and relieve pressure before servicing the brine system.

• Check programming: Ensure the brine refill time is not set to zero in the control settings.
• Inspect refill flow control: Remove the brine refill flow control and clean any debris or scale.
• Check brine line: Disconnect and flush the brine line tubing. Replace if blocked or kinked.
• Refill valve: Inspect the internal brine refill valve in the Autotrol head for sticking. Replace if it does not open during the refill step.
• Test operation: Run a manual regeneration and confirm that water enters the brine tank during the refill stage.
