Possible Causes
Clogged venturi/injector, Air leak in brine line fittings, Stuck air check valve, Brine line kinked or blocked
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve before disassembling the venturi or brine system.
- Clean venturi: Remove and clean the Clearwater venturi/injector assembly and screens.
- Check brine tubing: Inspect for kinks, blockages, or loose push-fit connections. Reseat or replace tubing as needed.
- Inspect air check: Ensure the air check at the bottom of the brine well is not stuck closed.
- Test suction: During brine draw, disconnect the brine line at the tank and feel for suction at the valve. If none, the issue is in the valve; if suction exists, the issue is in the tank/line.
Persistent no-draw after cleaning indicates internal valve issues; the Clearwater control valve may need replacement.
