How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the inlet and outlet valves and depressurize the system by opening a nearby faucet. Unplug the unit.
- Locate leak: Dry the area and observe where water reappears—around the tank neck, valve body, or fittings.
- Tighten adapter: Gently tighten the Clearwater valve retaining nut or adapter ring if loose.
- Inspect O-ring: Remove the valve from the tank and inspect the large O-ring. Replace if flattened, cracked, or nicked.
- Check for cracks: Examine the tank neck for hairline cracks. If cracked, the Clearwater mineral tank must be replaced.
Reassemble, restore water slowly, and recheck for leaks. Do not operate a leaking pressure vessel; replace damaged components promptly.
