How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the softener before working inside the brine tank. Wear gloves.

- Clean sensor: Gently remove salt buildup from the sensor body using warm water and a soft brush. Do not use sharp tools.
- Check wiring: Ensure the sensor cable is firmly connected to the control board and not damaged.
- Verify position: Make sure the sensor is mounted at the correct height per Clearwater specifications so it can detect low salt accurately.
Restore power and check if E18 clears. If the error remains, replace the Clearwater salt level sensor.
