Possible Causes
Failed Foridra keypad membrane, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and PCB, Moisture ingress into control panel, Damaged front display board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the control housing. Do not spray cleaners directly on the panel.
- Inspect for moisture: Check for condensation or water droplets inside the display window. Dry gently with a soft cloth and allow the unit to air dry for several hours.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the front panel and verify the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the main board is fully seated and not damaged.
- Test buttons: With power restored, press each button firmly. If none respond, the keypad membrane is likely failed.
- Replace keypad/display: Install a new Foridra front keypad/display module, ensuring the gasket is properly seated to prevent future moisture ingress.
