Possible Causes
Failed pressure sensor on Foridra valve, Inlet pressure above rated maximum, Blocked pressure port, Sensor wiring fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: High water pressure can cause leaks or bursts. Close the inlet valve and relieve pressure before removing any components.
- Measure pressure: Use a pressure gauge on a nearby faucet to confirm actual inlet pressure. If above 80 psi (5.5 bar), install or adjust a pressure reducing valve.
- Inspect sensor port: Locate the pressure sensor on the Foridra valve head and ensure its sensing port is not clogged with scale or debris. Clean gently if needed.
- Check wiring: Verify the sensor connector is secure and the cable is undamaged.
- Replace sensor: If readings are clearly wrong compared to the gauge, replace the Foridra pressure sensor module.
