Possible Causes
Actual low supply pressure, Clogged inlet pre-filter, Faulty Foridra pressure sensor, Air in inlet line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before working on plumbing. Relieve pressure slowly.
- Check other fixtures: Confirm whether low pressure affects the whole house. If so, address the main supply or well system.
- Inspect pre-filter: If a sediment or carbon filter is installed before the Foridra softener, replace or clean the cartridge.
- Bleed air: Open a nearby faucet and slowly open the inlet valve to the softener to purge air from the lines.
- Sensor test: Compare the pressure reading (if displayed) with a mechanical gauge. If they differ significantly, replace the Foridra pressure sensor.
