Possible Causes
Incorrect programming of cycle times, Control board timing circuit fault, Valve not reaching positions correctly, Flow sensor misreading during regen
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting internal components.
- Verify programming: Enter the installer menu and confirm that backwash, brine draw, rinse, and refill times match Foridra specifications for your resin tank size.
- Check valve movement: Listen during regeneration to ensure the valve motor moves smoothly between steps without repeated retries.
- Inspect flow sensor: If the system uses flow-based timing, ensure the Foridra flow sensor is clean and functioning (see E05 procedure).
- Replace PCB: If timing remains erratic despite correct programming and mechanical operation, replace the Foridra main control PCB.
