Possible Causes
Blocked brine drain line, Stuck brine float, Leaking refill valve in Foridra head, Clogged injector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Place the unit in bypass and unplug it. Prepare for possible overflow; use a wet/dry vacuum if needed.
- Check brine float: Ensure the float moves freely and shuts off water at the correct level. Clean or replace if stuck.
- Inspect brine drain: Verify the brine drain line is not kinked or blocked. Flush it thoroughly.
- Clean injector: Remove and clean the Foridra brine injector and associated passages.
- Refill valve check: If water continues to enter the brine tank when idle, the refill valve in the Foridra head may be leaking and require a seal kit or head replacement.
