Softener causes air sputtering at faucets after regeneration

Safety: Air in lines is usually not dangerous but can be startling. Avoid sudden valve changes while lines are full of air.

• Check brine level: Ensure the brine tank has adequate water before regeneration; extremely low levels can allow air into the system.
• Inspect brine line connections: Tighten and reseat all brine line fittings at the Foridra valve and brine well to prevent air leaks.
• Drain line routing: Ensure the drain line has a proper air gap and does not create a siphon that could draw air back.
• Injector seals: Replace worn injector O-rings or gaskets in the Foridra valve head.
