How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Wear gloves and eye protection. Work in a well-ventilated area. Do not mix bleach with other cleaners.
- Empty brine tank: Scoop out salt and brine, disposing of it safely. Rinse the Foridra brine tank with clean water.
- Sanitize tank: Prepare a mild bleach solution (about 1/4 cup household bleach per gallon of water) and wipe all interior surfaces. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean float and brine well: Remove and clean the brine float assembly and brine well tube with the same solution, then rinse.
- Refill with fresh salt: Add new, high-purity salt and refill with water per Foridra instructions.
- Sanitize system: Run a system sanitization cycle if supported by your Foridra model.
