Worn keypad membrane, Loose ribbon cable, Moisture intrusion into control head, Faulty display/keypad module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the front panel.

  • Inspect keypad: Remove the front cover and check the keypad ribbon cable connection to the control board. Reseat firmly.
  • Dry moisture: If condensation or water is present, dry the area and correct any leaks from the valve or plumbing.
  • Test buttons: After reseating, power up and test each button. If some or all still fail, replace the Pentair display/keypad module.
  • Board check: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the Pentair electronic control board may be defective.
