Display shows ERR DRAIN; unit may not backwash or rinse properly and may remain in regeneration.

Safety: Close inlet valve and relieve pressure before removing drain fittings. Beware of discharge water when clearing lines.

• Inspect drain hose: Follow the drain line from the Pentair valve to the drain point. Straighten any kinks and ensure the hose is not submerged in standing water.
• Check flow control: Remove the drain flow control fitting from the valve. Clean any debris or scale from the orifice.
• Flush line: Disconnect the drain hose from the valve and run water through it with a garden hose to confirm it is clear.
• Verify drain termination: Ensure the drain is not tied into a clogged floor drain or standpipe. Clear any building drain blockage if necessary.
• Test regeneration: Reconnect everything, open valves, and run a manual regeneration. Confirm strong flow at the drain during backwash and rinse and that ERR DRAIN clears.
