• Meter configuration: Confirm the correct meter size and type are selected. A smaller meter setting will make the unit think more water has passed than actually has.
• Flow meter test: In diagnostics, compare displayed gallons to a known volume (e.g., filling a 5-gallon bucket). If readings are far off, replace the Pentair turbine flow meter assembly.
