• 3. Inspect power jack: Examine the power jack on the control head for looseness or corrosion. Gently wiggle the plug and see if the display flickers; if so, the jack may be damaged.
• 4. Try a known-good adapter: If available, test with a compatible SpringWell adapter. If the error clears, replace the SpringWell power adapter.
• 5. Replace control head: If a good adapter still results in E17, the control board may have an internal short and should be replaced.
