Water leaking from brine line connections or around the brine well

Safety: Disconnect power. Brine is corrosive; protect nearby metal surfaces and electrical equipment.

Steps:

• Tighten fittings: Gently tighten compression nuts on the brine line. Do not overtighten plastic fittings.
• Inspect tubing: Check the entire length of the brine hose for cracks or pinholes. Replace with compatible brine‑resistant tubing if damaged.
• Check brine well seal: Ensure the brine well cap and grommet are seated correctly and not split.
• Correct overfill: If the tank is overfilled, remove excess brine and resolve the underlying overfill cause (see overfill fault).
