Possible Causes
Moisture intrusion into touch panel, Damaged touch PCB, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Faulty capacitive touch sensor IC
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the Auseo wine cooler from power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect. If E6 persists, continue.
- Inspect control panel: Remove the front control panel (usually held by clips or screws). Check for condensation, corrosion, or liquid spills on the touch PCB.
- Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat ribbon cable between the user interface board and main control board is fully seated and not damaged.
- Dry and clean: If moisture is present, gently dry the area with a lint-free cloth and allow the panel to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Replace UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive and E6 continues, replace the touch control panel / user interface PCB specific to your Auseo model.
- Test: Reconnect power and verify that all buttons respond and the error code is cleared.
Note: Avoid spraying cleaners directly on the control panel; apply to a cloth instead to prevent future moisture damage.
