Possible Causes
Failed upper zone NTC sensor, Loose sensor connector on dual-zone control board, Damaged sensor wiring in cabinet wall
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal panels.
Steps:
- Identify zone: Confirm that F1 corresponds to the upper compartment on your specific Auseo model (refer to user manual if available).
- Locate sensor: The upper zone sensor is usually clipped to the rear liner of the upper compartment. Trace its wiring to the rear of the unit.
- Test sensor: Disconnect and measure resistance with a multimeter. Compare to the lower zone sensor at the same temperature; values should be similar.
- Replace sensor: If readings are out of range, install a new upper zone NTC temperature sensor and route wiring as originally installed.
- Reconnect and test: Restore power and verify that F1 clears and the upper zone cools correctly.
Note: If both sensors test good, the dual-zone control board may be at fault.
