Possible Causes
Stuck relay on main control board, Shorted temperature sensor causing false low reading, Faulty thermostat calibration, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing sensors or the control board.
Steps:
- Verify setpoint: Confirm the set temperature is appropriate for wine storage (typically 10–14°C / 50–57°F). Adjust if accidentally set too low.
- Check sensor readings: Compare the displayed temperature with an accurate thermometer placed inside. If the display is incorrect, test the cabinet sensor as described for E0.
- Inspect control board: If the sensor is good but the compressor runs continuously, the compressor relay on the main PCB may be stuck closed.
- Reset power: Unplug for 10 minutes to see if the relay releases. If overcooling resumes, the board likely needs replacement.
- Replace faulty part: Install a new cabinet NTC temperature sensor if readings are wrong, or a new main control board if the relay is stuck.
Note: Overcooling can damage wine; until repaired, move bottles to a stable environment.
