How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the control panel.
- Clean the panel surface: Wipe the touch panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Sticky residue can affect touch sensitivity.
- Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes and reconnect to clear minor logic glitches.
- Access the control panel: Remove the panel to inspect the keypad PCB and ribbon cable. Ensure the cable is firmly seated.
- Check for moisture or corrosion: Look for signs of water ingress or corrosion on the keypad board. Dry gently if damp.
- Replace keypad/display board: If specific buttons never work or the panel is unresponsive, replace the keypad/display assembly with an OEM Avanti part.
- Control board replacement: If a new keypad does not restore function, the main control board's keypad interface may be defective and require replacement.
