• Clean condenser coils: Dirty coils cause high compressor temperatures and overload trips. Vacuum and brush the coils thoroughly.
• Check ventilation: Ensure adequate clearance around the cooler for heat dissipation.
• Inspect start relay and overload: Remove the rear panel and examine the start components on the compressor. Replace any that are burnt or rattling.
• Test with new start components: Install an OEM Avanti start relay and overload protector. If the compressor starts and runs normally, monitor for proper cooling.
• Assess compressor health: If the compressor still fails to start or quickly trips the overload with new components, the compressor may be locked or failing internally. Contact a licensed technician for diagnosis and possible replacement.
