Possible Causes

Defective cabinet NTC sensor, Broken or loose NTC wiring harness, Corroded connector at main control board, Failed main control board sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Beko wine cooler from the mains before removing any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

  • Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect. If E0 clears temporarily but returns, continue below.
  • Locate the cabinet NTC: On most Beko wine coolers, the cabinet temperature sensor is clipped to the evaporator cover or mounted on the rear interior wall behind a small plastic cover. Remove shelves and inner cover as needed.
  • Inspect wiring: Check the sensor leads for cuts, pinches, or signs of moisture damage. Ensure the connector is firmly seated on the sensor and at the main PCB.
  • Test the sensor: With a multimeter set to resistance (ohms), measure the NTC at room temperature. Typical NTCs read between 5–20 kΩ at ~25°C. If it reads open (OL) or 0 Ω, the sensor is faulty.
  • Replace the NTC: If readings are out of spec, replace the cabinet temperature sensor with a compatible Beko NTC. Route the new sensor along the original path and secure it away from moving parts and sharp edges.
  • Check the control board: If a known-good sensor still gives E0, inspect the main control board for burnt components or corrosion. Replacement of the PCB is usually required if the sensor circuit is damaged.

If you are not comfortable testing live circuits or removing interior panels, contact a qualified appliance technician.
