Possible Causes

Loose or damaged harness between display PCB and main PCB, Corroded connectors at control panel, Failed display PCB, Faulty main control board communication circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect the wine cooler from mains before removing the control panel or top cover.

  • Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes and reconnect. If E6 returns, proceed.
  • Access control panel: Remove screws or clips holding the front control panel or top fascia. Carefully pull it forward to expose the display PCB and wiring.
  • Inspect wiring harness: Check the ribbon cable or harness between the display and main board for kinks, cuts, or burn marks. Reseat all connectors firmly.
  • Check for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or liquid ingress on the display PCB. Dry gently if minor; if corrosion is present, the board may need replacement.
  • Replace display PCB: If wiring is intact but E6 persists, replace the user interface/display board with the correct Beko part.
  • Main PCB: If a new display does not resolve the error, the main control board communication circuit may be defective and require replacement.
