Possible Causes
Stuck or shorted touch keys, Damaged touch membrane, Loose keypad connector, Failed control panel PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing the control panel.
- Clean the panel: Wipe the touch control surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove any sticky residue that may cause false touches. Dry thoroughly.
- Inspect for physical damage: Look for cracks or warping of the touch panel glass or plastic.
- Access keypad connections: Remove the control panel and inspect the keypad ribbon cable and connector. Reseat the cable and ensure it is not torn.
- Test button response: After reassembly, power on and test each button. If E7 persists or some keys do not respond, the keypad or control PCB is likely faulty.
- Replace control panel assembly: Install a new Beko control panel or keypad PCB as a complete assembly if available.
