Possible Causes

Upper and lower zone sensors reading out of range, Incorrect sensor type fitted during prior repair, Loose sensor connectors on main PCB, Faulty main control board calibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.

  • Verify model type: Confirm whether your Beko wine cooler is single-zone or dual-zone. E8 is more common on dual-zone models.
  • Compare zone readings: With the unit running, note the displayed temperatures for both zones. If one is clearly unrealistic (e.g., 0°C or 99°C), suspect that zone's sensor.
  • Inspect both zone sensors: Access the interior rear panels for upper and lower compartments. Locate and inspect each NTC sensor and wiring.
  • Check connectors at PCB: At the main control board, ensure each sensor is plugged into the correct socket and fully seated.
  • Test sensors: Measure resistance of both sensors at the same ambient temperature. They should be similar if they are the same part number. Replace any sensor that is open, shorted, or significantly off.
  • Replace main PCB: If sensors are correct and wired properly but E8 persists, the control board may have lost calibration and should be replaced.
