Possible Causes
Corrupted EEPROM on main PCB, Power surge damage, Incorrect replacement control board, Loose board connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before touching the control board.
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then reconnect. If E9 returns, continue.
- Inspect control board: Remove the rear or top cover to access the main PCB. Look for burn marks, swollen components, or signs of moisture.
- Check all connectors: Reseat all harnesses to and from the board, including sensors, fan, compressor, and display.
- Verify part number: If the board was recently replaced, confirm that the installed PCB matches the exact Beko part number for your model.
- Replace main PCB: EEPROM corruption is not typically field-repairable. Replace the main control board with a new, correct Beko board.
