Possible Causes
Blocked condenser coil with dust, Condenser fan failure (if fitted), Poor ventilation around appliance, High ambient temperature beyond spec
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before cleaning or accessing the rear compartment.
- Check ventilation: Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the sides, back, and top of the wine cooler as specified in the manual.
- Clean condenser: Remove the rear lower panel to access the condenser coil. Use a soft brush and vacuum to remove dust and lint from the coil fins.
- Verify condenser fan: If your Beko model has a condenser fan, spin the blades by hand (power off) to ensure they move freely. Check wiring and test for power when the compressor should be running (live testing only by qualified persons).
- Relocate if necessary: Move the unit away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight.
- Persistent F1: If the condenser is clean and fan is working but F1 persists, the condenser temperature sensor or main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
