Display shows E2 and the lower zone temperature is not displayed correctly or flashes.

Steps to diagnose and fix:

• Access the lower sensor: Remove the lower zone shelves. Look for a small plastic cover or clip on the rear or side wall; the lower NTC sensor is typically behind or under this cover.
• Inspect the sensor and wiring: Check for visible damage, cuts, or pinched sections where shelves or bottles may have pressed against the cable. Ensure the sensor tip is not hanging loose.
• Check the PCB connection: From the back of the unit, remove the rear panel and locate the lower sensor connector on the main control board. Unplug and replug the connector to ensure a solid connection.
• Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature with a multimeter. Compare to the expected NTC value (commonly 5–10 kΩ at 25°C). If the reading is far off, open, or shorted, the sensor is defective.
• Replace the sensor: Install a new BODEGA lower zone NTC temperature sensor. Route the wire along the original path, avoiding contact with the evaporator fan or sharp metal edges, and secure it with clips or tape.

When to call a professional: If the error persists after sensor replacement, the main control board may be faulty and should be diagnosed by a technician.
