Possible Causes

Control set below safe limit, Sensor reading below design range, Firmware protection triggered, Faulty temperature sensor reporting too low

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks.

Steps to resolve:

  • Adjust setpoint: Increase the set temperature to within the recommended wine storage range (e.g., 40–65°F / 5–18°C). Some BODEGA models will show Lo if you attempt to set below the minimum.
  • Check for freezing: Inspect the evaporator and interior for ice buildup. If present, unplug the unit and allow it to fully defrost.
  • Verify sensor operation: If the display shows an unrealistically low temperature, test the corresponding NTC sensor as described in E1/E2 and replace if out of range.
  • Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes, then reconnect and reprogram the temperature.

When to call a professional: If Lo persists with normal temperatures and a good sensor, the control board may be faulty.
