How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the display.
- Check brightness setting: Some models allow dimming; ensure it is not set to minimum.
- Access display: Remove the control panel cover and inspect the display board and connectors.
- Reseat connectors: Firmly reconnect the ribbon cable or harness between main PCB and display.
- Replace display PCB: If the backlight remains off or very dim, install a new "Display PCB" compatible with your Candy model.
- If still faulty: The low-voltage supply on the "Main control board (PCB)" may be defective and require board replacement.
