Possible Causes

NTC sensor out of calibration, Poor sensor placement or contact, Firmware calibration error, Faulty main PCB ADC circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing sensors or PCB.

  • Verify with a thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside the cabinet and compare to the displayed temperature after several hours of stable operation.
  • Check sensor mounting: Ensure the cabinet NTC sensor is properly clipped to the evaporator cover or liner and not touching warm components or exposed to drafts from the door.
  • Inspect wiring: Loose or intermittent connections can cause fluctuating readings. Reseat connectors at both sensor and PCB.
  • Factory reset / calibration: If the model supports it, perform a control reset as per the service or user manual.
  • Replace sensor: If readings remain unstable, replace the "Cabinet NTC temperature sensor".
  • PCB replacement: If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the analog-to-digital converter on the "Main control board (PCB)" may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
