Display shows Hi and temperature cannot be set higher or reading seems stuck at high value

Safety first: Unplug the unit before internal inspection.

Steps:

• Door and load check: Ensure the door is fully closing and the unit is not overloaded, blocking airflow.
• Ambient conditions: Verify the cooler is not installed in a very hot environment beyond its rated ambient temperature.
• Sensor and wiring: Inspect the cabinet sensor and its wiring for disconnection or damage. An open sensor can cause a constant Hi reading.
• Cooling system: Confirm the compressor and fans run. If they do not, follow relevant error code or mechanical fault diagnostics.

Repair: Replace an open or damaged NTC sensor. If the cooling system is not operating, further diagnosis of the compressor, start device, and control board is required.
