Possible Causes

Stuck relay on main PCB, Shorted upper temperature sensor, Incorrect setpoint or control lock, Faulty thermostat circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing controls or boards.

Steps:

  • Verify setpoint: Confirm the upper zone set temperature is appropriate for wine (typically 5–18°C / 41–64°F). Adjust if accidentally set too low.
  • Control lock: Check if a child lock or control lock feature is engaged, preventing changes.
  • Sensor check: Inspect and reseat the upper NTC sensor connector at the main PCB. A shorted sensor can make the board think the cabinet is warm, overcooling it.
  • Power reset: Perform a full power reset to clear any stuck relay logic.

Repair: If the compressor continues to run excessively and the upper zone remains too cold, replace the upper temperature sensor first. If the issue persists, the main control board relay may be stuck closed and the board should be replaced.
